After breakfast you depart by vehicle to Kilimanjaro National Park. At the gate your crew finalise packing and after finishing with formalities you return to your vehicle for another 30 minutes or so until you arrive at Murram barrier. From here there are options to walk OR continue by car to camp. The same principle applies once in camp - afternoon hikes are possible or resting in camp. The choice is yours. We recommend an evening hike up to a view point for sundowners, then return to camp for dinner. The night sky can be simply fabulous.

For the super active an early dawn hike to the Shira Catherdral is the way to go. Starting early with snacks and coming back for brunch (or if time allows breakfast in camp, lunch back at the Catherdral and back to afternoon departure) allows for a good connection options. Or, just relax in camp ;) In the afternoon (or as time and connections dictate) transfer back as far as Arusha.
